599 M.r Samuel Withers or One of the Attornies of this Court takes the Oathes appointed by Act of Parliament instead of the Oathes of Alleigance and supremacy John Hackett takes the same Oathes and is afterwards sworne as Undersheerif of this County to Capt Edward Sweatnam A Letter of Attorney from M.r Henry Land to M.r John Perry proved in Open Court p Two Evidences John Davis acknowldgeth a Deed to John Sutton for Two hundred Acres of Land the said Davis as tis said being now of Age which Deed is allready Entred upon the Records of ^this^ County Simon Wilmer Clk Peter Peterson proves an Accompt ag.t James Darby for Four hundred poundes of Tobaccoe Mary Butler being presented by the Grand jury in June last for haveing a Bastard Child is by this Court fined for the same the sume of Five hundred poundes of Tobaccoe And John Nicholson becomes bound for the paym.t of the same John Nicholson becomes bound unto our soveraigne Lord the King in the sume of Twenty poundes of Lawfull monie of England to be Leavied of ^his^ Lands and Tenements goods or Chattels Provided he save not this County of Kent harmelesse from a Bastard Child borne of Mary Butler to which he gave his consent Simon Wilmer Clk Ordered by this Court that the Clerk Issue out no Writts but by a Titleing or Order from some One of the Attornies belonging to the same Simon Wilmer Clk |
