586 John Salter and Mary his Wife she being privately Examined doe acknowledge a deed to John Sparkes for One hundred Acres of Land Ordered by this Court that no advantage be taken by reason of the alteracon and difference in the Writt and declaracon occationed by the Addicon of the Countie M.r Samuel Withers Peticons this Court that he may practice as an Attorny which is accordingly granted & he takes the Oath of an Attorny Samuel Tailor is appointed Constable of Island Creek hundred and takes the Oathes of Alleigance and abhorrence and likwise the Oath appointed by Law for a Constable Mary Neaves haveing in June Court Anno 1695 Peticoned the Court to order her what part of her deceased Fathers Estate is due unto her It is Therfore Ordered by this Court that Major Thomas Smith and Capt Thomas Ringgold being security for William Pickett to whome the said Neave his Estate was committed doe say unto the said Mary Neave such part as appeares to be her due Simon Wilmer Clk Orphan Jury called viz
