587 (300) George Elliott presents to this Court the orphans of John Barroughs viz John and Sarah who this Court doe bind to the said Georg Elliott The Boy until he arrive att the Age of One and Twenty Yeares In Consideracon wherof the said Elliott doth oblieg himselfe to learne him the Trade of a Tanner The Girle until she arrive att the Age of Sixteene Yeares or the day of Marriage to be imployed in any manner of service save the makeing of Indian Corne or Tobaccoe Simon Wilmer Clk Court adjournes for halfe an hour The same Court sitts Againe The Orphan Jury returne and present these following p.rsentm.ts viz Wee of the Jury doe p.rsent Mary Butler for haveing a Bastard Child resident att John Pounders Wee doe likewise p.rsent Samuel Withers who Keepeth an orphan boy of Charles Forriste who was bound by the Father of the said Child but what he was bound to wee find not likewise Thomas Hix who hath Two Orphans which is brought up to nothing but the Hol Wee likewise are Informed that Samuel Withers doth Keepe an Orphan Boy of Michael Harketts who was sett free by this Father but now is brought in a servant Charles Miles p.rsented for not Useing the Children of William Pickett in due Manner as he ought to doe p.rsented by John Blackiston Constable of Swan Creeke hundred Ordered by this Court that sum Issue according to the above p.rsentments Simon Wilmer Clk |
