To which the Defend.t came into Court and confessed Judgm.t according to Tenor of the said Bill It is Therfore considered by this Court that the Plt John Rawlinson doe recover from the defend.t Henry Davis the sume of One Thowsand poundes of Tobaccoe and cost of suit Simon Wilmer Clk
Kent fs Thomas Ricaud of the County aforesaid stands attached to answer unto Thomas Steevens of the said County of plea of Trepasse upon the case Whereupon the said Thomas Steeven by Charles Bast his Att.ry complaineth and saith that the said Thomas Ricaud for several goods and wares to him sould and delivered the sume of thirteen hundred and Thirty poundes of Tobaccoe standes Justly indebted to him in the full and Just sume of 1330.ll Tobaccoe as p a particular accompt therof herein Court ready to be produced and proved may more att large appeare which said sume of 1330.ll Tobaccoe be as aforsd he the said Thomas Ricaud did faithfully promise and upon himselfe did Assume the same to pay and satisfie when he should be therunto required yett neverthelesse the said Thomas Ricaud his faithfull promise and assumption soe as aforesaid made not at all regarding but seeking & intending to deceive him the said Thomas Steevens the aforsd same all the often thereunto required hath not paid but |
