but the same to pay hath futherto denied and still doth deny &
refuse whereupon the said Thomas saith he is damnified &
damage hath to the value of Two Thowsand six hundred &
sixty poundes of Tobaccoe and thereupon he bringeth this
suitt &c.a        Bast p Qur pldg de pro         John Doe

To which declaracon the defend.t proves himselfe and doth
acknowledge of the several Articles in the accompt produced
and in Court proved by the Plt save One Article viz
Credit given to William Wright and likewise declaring
that he ought to have Credit the sume of 60.ll Tob for
a hide to which the plt consented Judgment is awarded
for the Balla

Therfore it is considered by this Court that the Plaint:
Thomas Steevens doe recover from the defend.t Thomas
Ricaud the sume of One Thousand and seaventy pounds
of Tobaccoe and cost of suit
