[illegible] Indenture made the twelfth Day of June in y.e third
yeare of y.e Dominion of Charles Absolute Lord & propriato.r
in y.e Province of Maryland & Avalon Lord Barron of Baltemore
[illegible] between William Lacy of y.e County of Kent pt.r of y.e one part
& John Bowles of y.e same County of Kent planter of y.e other part
Wittneseth That y.e s.d W.m Lacy for & in Consideration of y.e
sume of eight thousand of tobacco: to him in hand at or before y.e
sealing & Delivery of these p.rsents by the s.d John Bowles well &
truly payed: y.e Receipt whereof y.e s.d William Lacy Doth here
by Acknowledg himselfe thereof Fully satisfied Contentented
Contented & Payed: Thereof & of every partt & parcell thereof
Doth hereby Clearly Aquitt Exonerate & Discharge y.e s.d John Bowles
his heirs Executors Administrators and Assignes for every by these p.rsent
hath for & from himselfe his heirs Execut.rs & Administrators given
granted Alienated bargained sold Enfeoffed & Confirmed And by
these p.rsents Doth fully Clearly & Absolutely give grant Bargaine
sell Alien: Enfeoffed & Confirme unto y.e s.d John Bowles his heirs
executors & Assignes for ever: all that parcell or tract of Land
called or Comonly Known by the name of Tullys Francy Begining
at a marked tree A red oake: & Runing up y.e Creek for bredth North
East seventy five perches to A marked seader thence southeast
& be south for Length: Three hundred and twenty perches thence
south West seventy five perches: thence North west & by north
to y.e first marked oake: Containing one hundred & fifty acres
more or Less: Late in y.e tennure & Occupation of Henry Hosier
& from him purchased by William Lacy Afores.d as by Convayance
Bearing Date y.e third Day of June 1674 Relation thereto
may more at Large Apear: Togather w.th all & singuler y.e Rights
members Jurisdicttions previledges proffitts or Benefitts thereunto
belonging or in any wise Apertaining w.th all Pattents Deeds
writtings Evidences or maniscripts Touching or in any wise Concerning
y.e s.d Premises To have & To hold all y.e s.d parsell
or tract of Land w.th all & singuler y.e Rights members & apurtenances
