[illegible] Know all men by these p.rsents That y.e William Lacy of Kent
County Planter Doe stand and are holden & firmly bound unto
John Bowles of y.e same County Clark In y.e Just & Full sume
of eighteen Thousand pounds of Every way good & sound Tobacco
[illegible] to be payed: To John Bowles or his true & Lawfull
Attorny his Executors Administrat.rs or Assignes To y.e which
payment to be well & truly made & Done I Doe binde me my selfe
as heirs executo.rs Administrat.rs Firmly by these p.rsents Sealed w.th
my Seale & Dated y.e 25.th Day of June [illegible] In the third
yeare of y.e Dominion of Charles &c Anno q Dom 1678

meaning thereof That this obligation to be voyd & of none Effect
