This Indenture made y.e 10.th day of Febry An.o
Dom 1693 Betweeene George Gouldhauck in y.e
province of Maryland of y.e one part & Samuell
Wheeler of y.e other part Wittnesseth y.e the s.d
George Goldhauk for & in consideration of y.e sum of
six thousand pounds of tobb in hand allready
received by y.e s.d Goldhauck & y.e s.d Goldhauck doe
for himselfe his heirs Exctrs & Adm.rs fully and
clearly exonerate & discharge y.e s.d Samuel Wheeler
his heirs & Exctrs of & from y.e same have granted
barganed solde & confirmed enfeoffed & doe by
these present grant bargane sell & confirm unto
the s.d Samuell Wheeler his heirs & assignes all that
parcell of Land commonly called & known by y.e
name of Gouldhauck & Nashes enlargement lieing
& being on Kent Island in Kent County Containing
two hundred Acres more or less & as by certificate
thereof may & will more & large appeare togather w.th
all y.e Rights members & apurtenances with all woods
under woods trees timber trees free Egress & regress from
& unto y.e [illegible] as also all other profits priviledges and
apurtenances whatsoever unto y.e s.d parcell of Land or
any part belonging or in any wise apertaining To
have and to hold y.e s.d parcell of Land with all
priviledges thereunto belonging unto y.e s.d Samuell
Wheeler his heires & assignes for ever & y.e s.d George
Gouldhauck his heirs & assignes doe Covenant in maner
& forme following y.t y.e s.d George Gouldhauck for himselfe
his heirs Exct.rs & Adm.rs are true & lawfull owners of
the p.rmises & at y.e Ensealing & Delivery of these p.rsents
are lawfully seized whereof to y.e use of him his heirs
for ever & y.t they have full power & authority to grant
bargan & sell y.e sell y.e same premises with every pt
or parcell thereof unto him y.e s.d Samuel Wheeler his
heirs & assignes for ever & further y.t y.e s.d & every tract
thereof is free from all former gifts grants Joynters
[illegible] fines Rents arrears of Rents whatsoever
