holden & firmly bound unto Nicholas Hurt
of y.e same Cooper in y.e full & Just sum of
twenty four thousand pounds of good merchantable
tobaco & Caske to be paid to y.e s.d
Nicholas Hurt his heirs Exct.rs Admt.rs or asignes
for performance whereof I doe binde me my
heirs Exct.rs & Admt.rs Joyntly & severally firmly
by these presents sealed with my seale & dated
this 16.th day of august in y.e fourth year of their
majesties Reigne Annoq Dom 1692

The Condition of this obligation is such y.t if y.e within
bound W.m Harris his heirs or Exct.rs doe well & truly
observe fullfil performe & keep all & singular y.e covenants
grants clauses & agreements whatsoever which on his part
& behalfe are & ought to be fulfilled performed & kept
mentioned in one Indenture of bargan & sale bearing even
date with these presents made betweene y.e s.d W.m Harris &
Jane his wife of y.e one p.t & Nicholas Hurt of y.e other part
according to y.e tenor Effect & true meaning of y.e s.d Indenture
that then this obligation to be voide other wise to remaine
in full force & vertue in Law
