380 To the Right Hnrble y.e Lord Propr.y This in humble Maner sheweth that by vertue of a warrant of two thousand Acres of Land granted to me Philemon Hemsly bearing date y.e sixth day of Aprill Last past & four hundred twenty five acres thereof assigned to M.r W.m Harris of Kent County I Philemon Hemsly Dpty survayor under y.e Right honbl Vincent Low Esq.r Survay.r generall of this province have laid out for y.e s.d W.m Harris A tract of land lieing and being in Kent County Called y.e holy Land lieing in Kent County on y.e north side of Chester River in Langfords Bay & at y.e head of a Creeke Called Dunns Creeke begining at a marked poplar being y.e first bounded tree of a tract of Land formerly laid out for James Ringold & Euning downe y.e s.d Creeke South East one hundred & twenty perches to A marked oake being a bounded tree of a tract of Land formerly Laid out for one Spenfast then runing north East three hundred & eighty perches into y.e woods then North West one hundred & twenty perches to a marked poplar standing by a branch side being y.e first bounded tree of a tract of Land laid out for y.e s.d Ringold Called y.e plains then west & by South halfe a point westerly 185 perches then south west 50 perches then south 150 perches then South East ten perches then Runing to y.e first bounded tree containing & now laid out for four hundred twenty & five acres more or Less to be held of y.e manor of Baltimore &c.a June y.e 15.th 1689 p Philemon Hemsly D Sur.r Recorded p me Charles Bass DClk |
