This Indenture made y.e 29.th day of June in y.e
yeare of our Lord Christ one thousand six hundred
ninety & two & in y.e fourth yeare of y.e Reigne of
W.m & Mary King & Queen Defenders of y.e faith &c.a
Betweene Jonathan Dickins of y.e County of Kent of & in
the province of Maryland of y.e one part & Edward James
of y.e County of Kent planter in y.e Province of Maryland ^of y.e other part^
Wittnesseth that y.e s.d Jonathan Dickins for & in consideration
of y.e sum of fifty thousand pounds of tobb already in
hand paid by y.e s.d Edward James & for divers other good
causes & considerations him y.e s.d Jonathan Dickins
thereunto moveing hath given granted barganed sold
enfeoffed & confirmed & by these presents doth fully clearly
& absolutely give grant alien sell enfeoffe & confirm unto
y.e s.d Edward James his heirs & assignes for ever all y.t parcell
of Land called Wrights purchase being in Kent County on
the western side of y.e Island of Kent begining at a marked
Locust stump standing upon a point at y.e mouth of
a Creeke called y.e norwest Creeke & runing for breadth up
the bay as it runs Eighty perches to a marked pignut tree
standing by y.e bay side bounded on y.e north by a line drawn
East South East from y.e s.d pignut tree for lengtht into y.e
woods one hundred & sixty perches on y.e East by a line
drawn south west & by south from y.e end of y.e East South
East And one hundred & sixty perches to an old marked Red
Oake standing at y.e head of y.e s.d northwest Creeke on y.e
south with y.e s.d Creeke & a line drawn west north west from
the s.d old marked oake to y.e first named Locust stump on y.e
west by y.e bay containing & now laid out for one hundred &
twenty acres more or less togather with all houses outhouses
orchards or orchards & all & singular woods or underwoods
timber trees wayes waters easements fishings commons
profits commodities & apurtenances to y.e s.d one hundred &
twenty acres of Land belonging or in any wayes apertaining
to have and to hold the s.d one hundred & twenty acres
of land & all & singular other premises with y.e apurtenances
