Know all men by these p.rsents that I Sarah Porter of y.e
City of Bristoll widow Admt.rx of all & singular the Goods and
Chattels Rights & Credits of John Porter late of y.e s.d City Chirurgeon
my late husband Deceased have made constituted Authorised &
apointed & by these p.rsents doe make constitue & Authoriz and
apoint & in my place & stead doe put Hans Hanson of Chester
River in Mary Land planter my true & lawfull Attorny for me in
my name & to my use to aske demand & Receive of & from all &
every person or persons whatsoever in Mary land affores.d or in
Virginia all such sum or sums of money Goods wares Merchandise
debts effects & demands whatsoever as are or shall be due or anyways
oweing or belonging to mee by all or every or any the p.rson or
p.rsons affores.d as I am Admt.rx as affores.d or otherwise whatsoever
Giveing & by these p.rsents granting unto my s.d attorny my
good Rights full power & lawfull authority for me in my name
and to my use as affores.d to sue arrest attach impleade imprison
& prosecute all & every or either of y.e s.d person or persons &
his her or their heirs Exct.rs or Admt.rs Goods or chattels Lands
or tenements & to use all Lawfull wayes & means for y.e obteining
& recovery of y.e p.rmises or any part thereof according to y.e Law
usage or custome of y.e place where they or any or either or any
of them shall be Attorny or Attornyes under him any s.d at.ry
to set & substitute & y.e same at his pleasure revoke & upon
Receipt of y.e premises or any part thereof Receipts & acquitances
& other lawfull discharge in my name to make & execute & all
& every y.e s.d person or persons out of prison to release & his or
their Goods or Chattells Lands or tenements to release & discharge
Ratifieing alloning & confirming all & whatsoever my s.d att.ry
shall ^Lawfully^ doe or cause to be done in or about the recovery of y.e p.rmises
or any part thereof to be as good & effectuall in y.e law to all intents
& purposes whatsoever as if I had done y.e same in my owne p.rson
