361 (185) This Indenture Made the 27.th day of Jan.ry 1691/2 in 4.d 4 of their Mas.trs Reigne Betweene Anthony & Joan his wife in y.e province of Maryland planters of y.e one part & John Oulson planter of y.e other part Witnesseth that y.e s.d Anthony Workman for & in consideration of y.e sum of six thousand pounds of tobb in hand already received by y.e s.d Anthony Workman of y.t y.e s.d Anthony & Joan his wife doe for them their heirs Exct.rs & Admt.rs fully & Clearly Exonerate & discharge y.e s.d John Oulson his heirs Exct.rs & Admt.rs of & from y.e same have granted barganed sould enfeoffed & confirmed & by these p.rsents doe grant bargaine sell enfeoffe & confirme unto him y.e s.d Jn.o Oulson his heirs & assigns all y.t parcell of Land John oulson his heirs & assignes all that parcell of Land conteining fifty acres scituate & being on Kent Island Called Coopers Quarter begining at y.e head of a branch called Stopells branch begining at a marked Red oake & runing for breath North & by East fifty pearches to a marked white oake & from y.e s.d marked white oake East & by south one hundred & sixty pearches for length & from y.e end of y.e end of y.e s.d East & by south Line by a line drawn South & by West fifty pearches & from y.e end of y.e s.d line by bounded tree conteining fifty acres More or Less with all wood underwoods trees timber trees free Egress & regress from & into y.e same as also all other profits privileges & apurtenances whatsoever unto y.e s.d parcell of Land ^or any part^ belonging or any wise apertaining to have and to hold to have & to hold y.e s.d parcell of Land with all y.e priviledges thereto belonging unto y.e s.d John Oulson his heirs & assignes forever & the s.d Anthony Workman & Joan his wife for themselves their heirs Exct.rs & Admt.rs doe Covenant in maner & form following y.t y.e s.d John Oulson is & are the true & Lawfull owners of y.e premises & at y.e Ensealing & delivery of of these presents are lawfully seized thereof to y.e use of them their heirs & assigns for ever & that they have full power & authority to grant bargaine & sell y.e premises with every part thereof unto y.e s.d John Oulson his heirs & assigns for ever & further y.t y.e s.d land & every part thereof is ^now^ free from all maner of former gifts grants Joynters Dowres fines Rents & arears of Rents whatsoever the rents which shall become due to y.e Lord of y.e fee in Respect of his seigneority onely excepted & also y.t y.e s.d Anthony Workman & Joan his wife their heirs Exct.rs & Admt.rs Covenanted to & with y.e s.d John Oulson his heirs & assignes y.t they shall & may from henceforth Lawfully & quietly have hold possess & enjoy all y.e s.d parcell of Land with y.e premises thereto belonging & also may Receive y.e rents Ishues & profits Ishues of y.e same from time to time to y.e onely use of him y.e s.d John Oulson his heirs & assigns for ever without y.e let disturbance or resistance of them y.e s.d Anthony & Joan his wife or any other person or persons whatsoever in confirmation whereof we y.e parties affores.d bound have subscribed their names & fixed their seals y.e day & year above written as witness our hands & seals seale Anthony Workman seale Signed & Delivered before us Joan I Workman seale Matt Eareckson Richard Lowder Recorded p me Charles Bass DClk |
