341 (175) This Indenture made this tenth day of october in the second year of the Reigne of our sovereigne Lord & Lady W.m & Mary King & Queene of England Scotland France and Ireland Defenders of the faith &c.a and in y.e year of our Lord Christ one thousand six hundred & ninety Between Benjamin Blackleach & Hanah his wife of the one part and Thomas Joce of Kent County Inholder of y.e other part Wittnesseth that y.e sd Benjamin Blackleach for & in consideration of y.e sum of ten thousand five hundred pounds of tobb to him in hand paid at or before the ensealing & Delivery of these presents by y.e sd Thomas Joce the receipt whereof y.e sd Benjamin & Hanah his wife doth hereby acknowledg and also for divers other causes them thereunto moveing Have given granted barganed aliened sold enfeoffed & confirmed and by these presents doth fully clearly & absolutely give grant bargan alien enfeoffe & confirme unto y.e sd Thomas Joce his heirs & assigns for ever all that mesuage or tenement with the Land thereunto belonging scituate lying & being in Kent County & commonly called or known by the name of prevention of ill conveniencies scituate lying and being between Grays End Creek & Chesapeak Bay on the north side of Chester River in y.e County affores.d begining at a Marked white oake west north west unto Chesapeak Bay by a line of Division being part of six hundred Acres called as afforesd and that part being divided into two halves or moityes according to y.e division afforementioned & laid out for one hundred & fifty Acres of land being more or less as by a certaine Deed Betweene Samuell Wheeler of y.e one pt & Richard Mason of y.e other pt & recorded in Kent County Records may more fully apeare as also the sd Moyety of one hundred and fifty Acres of Land by a deed from y.e sd Wheeler unto Thomas Thackstone & from y.e sd Thackstone unto y.e sd Benjamin Blackleach as by y.e sd Deeds may more at large apear relation being Indentures had Together with all its rights members jurisdictions & apurtenances with all houses Edifices buildings orchards Lands pastures woods trees under trees gardens |
