By this publique instrument be it known and made
manifest unto all persons to whome these presents
shall come that upon y.e seventeeth day of Aprill
in the third year of the Reigne of our sovereigne lord
and Lady William and Mary by the grace of God
King and Queene over England &ca Appeared before
me John Tudor Notary publique and Tabellion of
the City and Province of New Yorke admitted &
sworne by Excellency Henry Sloughter Esq. Cap.t
Gen.tll and Governour in Chiefe in and over y.e Province
of New Yorke and terretories thereon depending and
Resideing in the said City of New Yorke the further
mencioned John Nicolson and before me did acknowledg
the within ment letter of Attorney mad to his wife
Katherine Nicolson to be by him signed and sealed at
his Act and deed in y.e p.rsents of Edward Antill and
John Anderson witnesses thereunto of which the said
appearers desireing Act I have granted these p.rsents
to serve and be of value to him as occasion shall
Require This done and acted in New Yorke the
day and year above written
