327 (168) This Indenture made this twenty Eight day of October In the second year of the reign of our soveraign Lord & Lady William & Mary By the grace of God King of England Scotland france & Irland &c.a And in y.e yeare of our Lord Christ one thousand six hundred and ninty Between Benjamin Blackleach of Kent County Corwainder Hannah his wife of the one ptie Thomas Joce of the sayd County Inholder of the other pte Wittnesseth y.t the sayd Benjamin Blackleach in Consideration of the sum of Leavrs ^thousand^ pounds of Tobacco to him in hand pd att or before the sealing & delivery of these p.rsents by the sayd Thomas Joce y.e receite wherof y.e sayd Benj.n & Hannah his wife doth herby acknowledg themselves therwith fully satisfied & pd and therof and of Every pte therof doth Cleary quitt and discharge y.e sayd Thomas Joce his Heires Execut.rs And by these Esents given granted Bargained Aliened sold ^Enfeoffed^ Confirmed and by these p.rsents doth fully Clearly & absolutly ^give grant^ Bargain Alien sell Enfeoff and Confirm unto y.e the sayd Thomas Joce his Heires and assignes for Evrrel parcell or Tract of Land scituate Lying and being on the East side of Chessapeack Bay on the west side of Chester River in Kent County begining att a bounded tree standing by the river side att the Landing formerly Called Thomas Seawards landing and running down the river West South West To the mouth of a small Cove thence by a Line North North West thre hundrd and Twenty perchess |
