of June being Adjurnd from yesterday to
this day A.o 1687

John Rodes and Hanah his Wife in open Court
acknowledges this following Deed unto M.r Daniell
Norris she being privetly Examoned by M.r Hance
Hanson acknowledgeth her free Consent without
any threats or fears of her said husband

This Indenture made this twentyeth day of
June and in the Twelfth year of the Dominion of
Charles Lord and propryetary of Province of Maryland
Avalon Lord Baron or Baltemor and in the year
of our Lord Christ one thousand six hundred Eighty
and Seaven On and between John Rhodes and
Hannah his Wife of Kent County Cooper of the
one parte and Daniell Norris of the same County
Gen.t of the other parte Witneseth that he the
said John Rhodes for and in Consideration of
the sum of foure thousand pounds of Tobacco to
him in hand payd at or before the Ensealing and
Delivery of these presents the receipts whereof
the said John Rhodes doth holde himselfe fully
satisfied Contented and paid and thereof and
of every and percell thereof doth fully Clearely
absolutely Exonerate acquitt and discharge the said
Daniel Norris his heirs and Assigns for ever doth by
these presents give grant bargaine sell Alienate
Enfeoffe and Confirme unto him the said
