This Court orders Benjamin Ricaud Overseer
for the highwayes to cleare and make a good
sufficient and Convenient Roade Iff he knowes
of a more better and dryer way for the Winter
beaten then new is and If not knowne then to make
good the old Road In all places with Bridges
necessary for passadges for Cart horse and man from
Taverne branch direct to swan Creek bridge downe
as farr as Thackstons Wolfe Trap or the begining Road
of Langfords Bay with Expedition

This Court order Henry Carter Overseer for the
highwayes for the upper hundred of Kent Island
To cleare and make good the old maine Road from
Pointe Love to the East End of the Towne of Canterbury
and also Cleare and make a direct Road from and
[illegible] M.r Goodhands plantacon and Morgan
Williams pltacon unto the West End of the Towne
of Canterbury with bridges convenient & highway
sufficient for passadges for Cart horse and man
and to cleare from M.r Winchesters unto M.r Workemans
and from thence along the maine Road so to Rich.d
Jones and from the wading place to Pig Quarter
Bridge and to cleare from the Crosse In the said Towne
of Canterbury unto the West End of said Towne w.th
what Expedicon passibly might bee done
