County Deceas.d was sumoned to Answer unto Michaell Miller
in a plea that he Render unto him y.e sum of fower hundred twenty
& seven pounds of tobacco & Caske which to him he oweth & Unjustly
Detaineth

And Whereupon y.e s.d Michaell Miller by John Woodward his Attorny
Complaineth that y.e s.d Thomas Norris the twenty fifth Day of July in
y.e yeare of ou.r Lord God one thousand six hundred eight one by his Certaine
Bill or Writting Obligatory under his hand & Seale whose Date is y.e
Day & yeare aboves.d Did bind himselfe his heirs Executo.rs & Administ.r
to pay or Cause to be paied Unto y.e s.d Mich.ll Miller or to his Certaine
Attorny his executo.rs Admst.rs or Assignes: the full & Just sum And
quantity of four hundred twenty & seven pounds of good sound Mercht.bl
tobacco in Caske Convenient in y.e County afores.d on or before the tenth
Day of Octob.r next: ensueing the Date thereof: as by the s.d Bill
Relation being thereunto had may paid at Large Appeare never y.e
Less y.e s.d Thomas Norris in his Life time: nor y.e s.d Daniell in
his Capacity since his Death y.e s.d sum of four hundred twenty
& seven to him y.e s.d Michaell though oft thereto Requested hath
not yett paied: but y.e same to pay hath Refused to y.e Damage
of y.e s.d Michaell eight hundred fifty four pounds of tobacco in
Caske & thereupon he brings his suite    presid q.rs Jo Doe
