86                                    June Court 1725

    Ordered by the Court here that the afd Isaac Ashley Enter into Recogn.z
with good Security for his appearance at next Court to Answer to an
Indictment found against him for felony and Good Behaviour

    Thereupon Isaac Ashley of Kent County planter psent her in Court
in his proper person doth acknowledge himself Indebted unto the
Right Hon.ble the Lord prop.ry of this province of Maryland in the Sume
of forty pounds Sterl money of great Brittain to be made & Leveyed
of his good and Chattels Lands & Tenements for the use of the s.d Lord
prop.ry his heirs and Successors Conditionally that if he y.e Same
Isaac Ashley Shall not make his personal appearance before the Justices
of the next Court to be held for the County afd at the Court house in the Town
of Chester in the Same County on the third Teusday of August next Ensueing
to Answer unto an Indictment found against him and if that in
the mean time he Shall not be of good Behaviour wherewith the s.d Isaac
doth Acknowledge himself to be Content            also

    Francis Read & Abraham Ashley both of Kent County afd planters
present here in Court in their proper persons do acknowledge themselves Indebted
unto the Right Hon.ble the Lord prop.ry of this province of Mary.l
in the Sume of twenty pounds Sterling money of Great Brittain to be made
and Leveyed of their Several Goods and Chattels Lands and Tenements
for the use of y.e s.d Lord prop.ry his heirs and Successors Conditionally that
if the afd Isaac Ashley Shall not make his personal appearce before the
Justices of the next Court to be held for the County afd at the Court house
in the Town of Chester in the Same County on the third Teusday of August
next Ensueing to answer unto an Indictment found against him for
felony and if that in the mean time he y.e same Isaac Shall not be of
