Court to be held for the County afd at the Court house in the Town of Chester
in the same County on the third Teusday of June next ensueing to Answer
unto a presentment found against him by the Grand Jury for Breaking
the Sabbath Day and if that in the meantime he Shall not be of good
Behaviour wherewith the s.d Maurice Carty Doth Acknowledge himself
to be Content

Ordered by the Court here that the afd George Copper Enter
into Recognizance with good security for his appearance
at any time Dureing this Court Sitting to answer unto what
shall be objected against him on his Lorspps account on Suspicion of taking
a false oath and in the mean him to be of good behaviour

    Thereupon George Copper of Kent County planter present here in Court in
his proper person Doth acknowledge himself Indebted unto the Right honorable
the Lord prop.ry of this province of Maryland his heires and Successors in the
sum of twenty pounds Sterl Money of great Brittain to be made and Leveyed of
his goods and Chattels Lands and Tenements for the Use of the said Lord prop.ry
his heires and Successors Conditionally that if he the same George Shall not
make his personal appearance before y.e Justices of the Co.rt at any time Dureing
Court ^now^ Sitting to Answer unto what Shall be objected against him on Suspicion
of takeing a false Oath And if that in the mean time he Shall
not be of good Behaviour wherewith the s.d George Doth Acknowledge
himself Content                                                            also

    M.r James Smith & Daniel Pearkins both of Kent County and psent
herein Court in their proper persons Do acknowledge themselves Indebted
unto the Right Honourable the Lord prop.ry of this province of Maryland
his heirs and Successors in the Sume of ten pounds Sterling money of
Great Brittain to be made & Levy'd of their Several Goods & Chattels Lands
& Tenements for the use of y.e s.d Lord prop.ry his heirs and Successors Conditionally
that if the afd George Copper Shall not make his personal appearance
before y.e Justices of the Co.rt at any time Dureing y.e Same ^now^ Sitting to Answer unto what
Shall be objected against him on Suspicion of takeing a false Oath And if
