    Whereas the s.d George Copper Comes into Court in his proper person and app.rs
according to the Tenor of his Recognizance And thereupon it is Ordered that
his Recognizance and his Suretys Recognizances be Discharged

    George Copper of Kent County planter at this Court as afd Did Acknowledge
himself Indebted unto the Right Honourable the Lord prop.ry of this
province of Maryland his heirs & Successors in the Sume of twenty pounds
Sterling money of Great Brittain to be made and Leveyed of his goods and
Chattels Lands & Tenements for the use of the s.d Lord prop.ry his heirs & Successors
Conditionally that if he Should not make his personal appearance before
y.e Justices of this Co.rt at any time Dureing y.e Same Court Sitting to Answer unto what
Should be objected against him on Suspicion of takeing a false Oath and if
that in the mean time he Should not be of good behaviour and the s.d George
haveing appeared according to his Recognizance it is Discharged            also

    M.r James Smith & Daniel Pearkins both of Kent County at this Court
as afd Did Acknowledge themselves Indebted unto the Right Honourable
the Lord prop.ry of this province of Maryland his heirs and Successors in
the Sume of ten pounds Sterl money of Great Brittain to be made and
Leveyed of their Several goods & Chattels Land and Tenements for the
use of y.e s.d Lord prop.ry his heirs and Successors Conditionally that if y.e afd
George Copper Should not make his personal appearance before y.e Justices
of this Court at any time Dureing y.e [    ] Court Sitting to answer unto what Should
be objected against him on Suspicion of takeing a false Oath and if that
in the mean time he Should not be of good behaviour And the s.d George
haveing appeared according to his Recognizance as afd the s.d James Smith
and Daniel Pearkins their Recognizances are Discharged

    Michael Howard Esq.r Clerk of Indictments was ordered by the Justices
here at last November Court to Draw an Information against Maurice
Carty for keeping a Disorderly publick House of Entertainment which y.e
same Court now here this Eighteenth Day of March Anno Dom. Seventeen
hundred & twenty ^four^ orders not to be filed
