Maurice Carty
Ordered by the Court here that y.e afd Maurice
Carty Enter into Recognizance with good Security for
his appearance at any time this Court Dureing y.e
Same now Sitting, and Good Behaviour to answer unto what Shall be
objected against him for Suspicion of breaking y.e Sabbath Day

    Thereupon Maurice Carty of Kent County Innholder psent herein
Court in his proper person Doth acknowledge himself Indebted unto the
Right Honourable the Lord prop.ry of this province of Maryland in
the Sume of twenty pounds Sterl money of great Brittain to be made
and Leveyed of his Goods & Chattels Lands & Tenements for the use of
the s.d Lord prop.ry his heirs & Successors Conditionally that if y.e same
Maurice Shall not make his personal appearance before the Justices
of this Court at any time Dureing the same now Sitting to Answer unto
what Shall be objected against him on Suspicion of Breaking y.e Sabbath
Day And if that in y.e mean time he Shall not be of good Behaviour
wherewith y.e s.d Maurice Carty Doth Acknowledge himself to be Content

    James Smith of Kent County planter & John Wilson Innhold.r both
of Kent County present here in Court in their proper persons Do
Acknowledge themselves Indebted unto the Right Hon.ble the Lord prop.ry of this
province of Maryland in the Sume of ten pounds Sterl money of great
Brittain to be made and Leveyed of their Several goods & Chattels Lands &
Tenements for the use of the s.d Lord prop.ry his heirs and Successors Conditionally
that if the afd Maurice Carty Shall not make his personal
appearance before the Justices of this Court at any time Dureing the
Same now Sitting to Answer unto what Shall be objected against him
the same Maurice on Suspicion of Breaking y.e Sabbath Day and if
that in the Mean time he y.e same Maurice Shall not be of good
behaviour where with the s.d James Smith & John Willson Do Acknowledge
themselves Content

    Whereas the s.d Maurice Carty Comes into Court in his proper person and
appears according to y.e Tenor of his Recognizance & Thereupon it is Ordered
