63 Ordered by the Court here that y.e afd Isaack Ashley Enter into Recognizance wth good Security for his appearance at next Court to Answer unto an Indictment found against him ^for felony^ and good behaviour And that y.e Sherr of Kent County keep him y.e s.d Isaack in safe Custody untill he Shall Enter as afd Thereupon Isaack Ashley of Kent County planter present herein Court in his proper person Doth Acknowledge himself Indebted unto the Right Honourable the Lord prop.ry of this province of Maryland in the Sume of forty pounds Sterling money of Great Brittain to be made & Leveyed of his Goods and Chattels Lands & Tenements for the use of y.e s.d Lord prop.ry his heirs and Successors Conditionally that if the same Isaack Shall not make his personal appearance before the Justices held for the County afd at the Courthouse in the Town of Chester in y.e Same County on the third Teusday of June next Ensueing to answer unto an Indictment found against him for felony And if that in the meantime he Shall not be of Good behaviour wherewith the s.d Isaack Doth Acknowledge himself to be Content also John Ashley & William Ashley both of Kent County afd Planters present herein Court in their proper persons do acknowledge themselves Indebted Indebted unto the Right Honourable the Lord prop.ry of this province of Maryland in the Sume of twenty pounds Sterling money of Great Brittain to be made and Leveyed of their Several goods & Chattels Lands & Tenements for the use of the s.d Lord prop.ry his heirs & Successors Conditionally that if the afd Isaack Ashley Shall not make his personal appearance before the Justices of the next Court to be held for the County afd at y.e Courthouse in the Town of Chester in the same County on y.e third Teusday of June next ensueing to Answer unto an Indictment found against him for felony and if that in the mean time he the same Isaack Shall not be of Good Behaviour wherewith the same John Ashley & W.m Ashley are Content David Hull Sworn & Sent as an Evidence to y.e Grand Jury M.r John Johnson George Miller & Margarett Benjerfeild Sworn & Sent as afd The Court adjorns till to Morrow Morning at Nine of y.e Clock |
