Recognizance of the afd Patrick Mackneal as Surety for his ^afd^ wife Ann
Mackneal for the Sume of twenty pounds Sterling money of Great Brittain
be forfeited to y.e use of the Lord prop.ry of this province of Maryland &
that his s.d Lordship have thereof Execution against the s.d Patrick
Mackneal also it is Considered that the s.d Patrick pay the sume of
twenty four pounds pounds of Tob.o Costs accrueing on the pmisses
afd to y.e Clerk of this Court

^Surety^ for the afd Ann Mackneal on the twentyeth Day of
November Anno Dom. Seventeen hundred and twenty
four did acknowledge himself Indebted unto the Right Honourable the L.d
prop.ry of this Province of Mary.ld in the Sume of twenty pounds Sterl
money of Great Brittain to be made & Leveyed of his goods & Chattels &c.a
Conditionally that if the afd Ann Mackneal Should not make her personal
appearance before the Justices of our then next Court to be held for the County
afd then and there to Stand and abide the Determination of the Same Court
and if that in the mean Time She the same Ann Should not be of good
behaviour wherewith the s.d Patrick Did Acknowledge himself Content

    And now to wit at this Court being the Sixteenth Day of March Anno Dom.
Seventeen hundred and twenty four the afd Ann Mackneal not haveing appeared
to the Recognizance as afd Therefore it is Considered by the Justices
here to wit at the Court house in the Town of Chester in s.d Coty this Sixteenth Day
March Anno Dom. Seventeen hundred and twenty four that the afd Recog.c
of the afd Patrick Mackneal as Surety for his afd wife Ann Mackneal for the
Sume of twenty pounds Sterl money of Great Brittain be forfeited to the use
of the Lord prop.ry of this Province of Maryland & that his s.d Lordship have
thereof Execution against the s.d Patrick Mackneal also it is Considered that y.e s.d
Patrick pay the Sume of twenty four pounds of Tob.o Costs Accrueing on the pmisses
