Court 1724 Robert Green & Daniel Flinn both of Kent County planters present herein Court in their proper persons Do acknowledge themselves Indebted unto the Right Honourable the Lord prop.ry of this province of Maryland in the Sume of ten pounds Sterling money of Great Brittain to be made and Leveyed of their Several Goods & Chattels Lands & Tenements for the use of the s.d Lord prop.ry his heirs and Successors Conditionally that if the afd Bowles Green Shall not make his personal appearance before the Justices of the next Court to be held for the County afd at the Court house in the Town of Chester in the same County on the third Teusday of June next ensueing to answer to an Indictment found ag.st him for Stealing one Ewe Lamb and if that in the mean time he the same Bowles Shall not be of Good behaviour wherewith the Same Robert Green & Daniel Flinn are Content
John Devnish of Kent County planter at last Court Did Acknowledge himself Indebted unto the Right Honourable the Lord prop.ry of this province of Maryland in the Sume of thirty pounds Sterl money of Great Brittain to made & Leveyed of his Goods & Chattels &c.a Conditionally that if of our ^then^ next County Court to be held for the County afd to answer unto what Should be objected against him on Suspicion of felony & if that in the meantime he Should not be of Good behaviour And now at this Court the s.d John haveing appeared and no Cause being Shewn to y.e Contrary his Recognizance is Discharged |
