53 Shall not make his personal appearance before the Justices of the next Court to be held for the County afd at the Courthouse in the Town of Chester in the same County on the third Teusday of June next ensueing to Answer to an Indictment found against him for Stealing half a Smiths Anvill and if that in the mean time he the same Bowles Shall not be of good Behaviour wherewith the same Robert Green & Daniel Flinn are Content
the Sixteenth Day of s.d Month Anno Dom. Seventeen hundred and twenty four the Day of Return of s.d writt Endorst as foll. viz.t Copi Corpus p Fred Hanson Sherr. Thereupon it is ordered by the Court that the afd Bowles Green Enter into Recognizance with Good Security for his appearance at next Court (to answer to an Indictment found against him for Stealing one Ewe Lamb) and Good behaviour and that the Sher of Kent County keep him the s.d Bowles in Safe Custody untill he Shall Enter as afd Whereupon Bowles Green of Kent County planter present here in Court in his proper person doth acknowledge himself Indebted unto the Right Hon.ble the Lord prop.ry of this province of Maryland in the Sume of twenty pounds Sterling money of great Brittain to be made & Leveyed of his goods & Chattels Lands & Tenements for the use of the s.d Lord prop.ry his heirs & Successors Conditionally that if the Same Bowles Shall not make his personal appearance before the Justices bfour next Court to be held for the County afd at the Courthouse in in the Town of Chester in the Same County on the third Teusday of June next Ensueing to Answer to an Indictment found against him for Stealing one Ewe Lamb and if that in y.e mean time he Shall not be of Good behaviour wherewith the s.d Bowles Doth Acknowledge himself to be Content also |
