March Court 1723 his personal appearance at the then next Court to be held for the s.d County to answer unto the Indictment ^afd^ and now at the s.d next Court to wit at the Court house in the Town of Chester this Seventeenth day of March Anno Dom. one thousand Seven hundred and twenty three the afd Will.m Burk appears and thereupon the same Gideon Pearce and John Clark ^& either of them^ are Discharged from their Recognizances afd Ordered that Emanuel Hursts Recognizance be discharged as Evidence against the afd William Burk Emanuel Hurst of Kent County planter at last August Court acknowledged himself Indebted unto his Lordship the Lord propr^i^etary of this province in the sume of tenn pound Sterl. Conditionally that if he Should not appear at ^y.e^ then next November Court to give Evidence on behalf of his said Lordship against William Burk and the s.d Emanuel being Sick and not able to appear the s.d Recognizance was respited from said November Court untill this Court and now here at this Court to wit at the Third Teusday of March it being made appear to the Justices here that the said Emanuel is So Sick that he cannot appear without Danger of his life thereupon the said Emanuel: Recognizance is discharged Ordered that Abraham Redgrave Surely for Ann Hurst his Recognizance be Discharged She being as an Evidence against the afd William Burk Abraham Redgrave of Kent County Gentl. at Last Court did acknowledge himself Indebted unto the Right Honourable the Lord prop.ry of this Province his heirs and successors in the sume of five pounds Sterl. to be made and Levyd on his Goods and Chattels lands and Tenements Conditionally that if Ann Hurst ^Should^ next Court to beheld for ^sd^ County to wit the Seventeenth Day of March Anno Dom. one thousand seven hundred and twenty three the afd Ann Hurst appears and there upon the afd Abra.m Redgraves Recognizance is Discharg'd
