March Court 1727 Inhabitant of this Province to wit at the Parish and County afd within the Jurisdiction afd / One knife of the Value of Sixteen pence Current money of Maryland and One Fork of the Value of One Shilling like money of the proper goods and Chattles of a Certain Gilbert Falconar the same William then and there knowing the Negro Slave afd to belong to the afd Gilb.t without leave or licence first had and obtained from the same Gilbert the said Negroes Master or from the same Negroes Mistress dame or overseer for his so Doing Contrary to the peace of the said Lord prop.ry that now is his good rule and Government and against the form of the Act of Assembly in Such Case made & provided &c Wherefore the same Attorny of the said Lord propry for the Same Lord propry prayeth the Advise of the Court here in the Premisses & Due process of Law in this part to be made against the afd William to answer unto the afd Lord prop.ry of and upon the psses &c.a
Now here at this ^Court^ Anno Dom. Seventeen hundred & twenty Seven and the afd W.m Wood in his proper pson Comes and Defends the force & Inquiry when &c.a and pray Liberty to Imparle and plead to the Information afd untill the third tuesday in Nov.r next and he hath it the same Day is given the plt also And the afd W.m Wood on the afd third tuesday In Nov.r being the twenty first Day of same month in the year afd last mention'd in his proper pson comes and Defends the force and Injury when &c.a And prays Liberty to Imparle and plead to the Information afd untill the third tuesday in March next and he hath it the same Day is given the plt in like manner And |
