    Also it is Considered on the day & year afd that the said S.t Leger
pay the Sum of two hundred twenty nine pounds of Tob.o Cost accruing
on the premisses afd

 A writt having issued at his Lordships
suit against the said Jane to answer
unto an Information Exhibited against
her for Adultery the Sherrf of Kent County to whom the said writt
was directed makes return thereof to this Court here on the third
Tuesday of November being the twenty first day of said Month
Anno Dom seventeen hundred twenty and seven the Day of return
of said writt Endorst as follows viz.t
                                            Non est Inventa p Jn.o Gresham Sherrf

    Kent County fs.t Memorandum that Tench Francis Gent Attorney
of the Right Honble the Lord propry that now is for the County afd
who for the same Lord proprietary in this part prosecuteth doth come
here into Kent County Court before Lambert Wilmer Esq.r and his
associates his Lordships Justices of the same County Court to wit at Chester
Town in the afd County the fifteenth Day of August Anno Domini
Seventeen hundred twenty and Seven and for the same Lord propry
doth give the Court here to understand and be Informed that Jane
Kennard late of Saint pauls parish in the County afd the wife of a
Certain Nathaniel Kennard of the same parish and County the
the twenty fourth day of June Anno Dom Seventeen hundred
twenty and Seven at the parish afd in the County afd within the
Jurisdiction of this Court having been duly admonished by the
Vestrymen of the same parish in the afd County did afterward
to wit the twenty ninth day of June Anno Dom Seventeen hundred
twenty and seven and at divers other times as well before as
since the afd twenty fourth day of June at the parish afd in
the County afd within the said Jurisdiction (the afd Nathaniel
then and yet being the Lawfull husband of the afd Jane) did
Adulteriously frequent the Company of a Certain S.t Leger Codd of
the afd parish and County Contrary to the Act of Assembly in
