November Court 1727 Ordered to find security for her appearance at the then next November Court as an Evidence against the afd W.m Wood Thereupon William Burk at August Court last as afd Acknowledged himself Indebted unto the Lord propry of this province of Maryland in the sum of ten pounds Sterling Money of Great Brittain to be made and Leveyed of his goods and Chattles Lands and Tenements for the use of his said Lordship his heirs and Successors Conditionally that if the afd Katharine should not make her personall appearance at the then next November Court as an Evidence against the afd William Wood and now at this Court here to wit the twenty first Day of November Anno Dom seventeen hundred twenty and seven the afd Katharine having appeared the said William his Recognizance is Discharged
to whom the said writt was directed makes return thereof to this Court here on the third Tuesday of November being the twenty first day of said Month Anno Dom Seventeen hundred twenty and seven the day of return of said Writt Endorst as followeth viz.t Cepi Corpus p Jn.o Gresham Sherrf Kent County fs.t Memorandum that Tench Francis Gent attorney of the Right Honourable the Lord propry that now is for the County afd who for the same Lord propry in this part prosecuteth doth Come here into Kent County Court before Lambert Wilmer Esq.r and his Associates his said Lordships Justices of the same County Court to wit at Chester Town in the afd County the fifteenth day of August Anno Dom Seventeen hundred twenty and Seven and for the same Lord propry doth give the Court here to understand and be informed that S.t Leger Codd of Saint pauls parish in the County afd Gentleman (the same S.t Leadger then and yet having a Lawfull Wife to wit at the |
