November Court 1727 Seventeen hundred twenty and seven with force and arms at the parish afd in the Country afd within the Jurisdiction of this Court Seven dunghill fowls of the value of six pence Current Money each of the goods and Chattles of a Certain Henry Cully then and there being found then and there feloniously did Steal take and bare away Contrary to the peace of the said Lord propry that now is his good rule and Government and against the form of the Act of Assembly in such Case Lately made and provided T francis Cler. pac. On the back of the preceeding Indictment was Endorst as foll.s viz.t Katharine Bolluck Evidence A true bill by William Ringgold foreman And the afd Mary Spareman in her proper person comes and saith that she is in no Sort guilty of the premisses above upon her Imposed as by the afd Indictment it is alledged and thereof she putteth herself upon the Country Mary Spareman ppia psona And the afd Tench Francis Attry of the ^said^ Lord propry cometh and saith that for as much as he hath not Evidence sufficient to Maintain the afd Charge in the Indictment afd Specefied against the said Mary Spareman he will not prosecute the same Indictment any further Therefore it is Considered by the Justices here to wit at the Court house in the Town of Chester in Kent County afd this twenty first day of November Anno Dom seventeen hundred twenty and Seven that the afd Mary Spareman as to the Indictment afd she go thereof without Day and be therefrom acquitted Also it is Considered that the said Mary Spareman pay the sum of three hundred and Eighty nine pounds of Tobacco Costs accruing on the premisses afd to the Officers of this Court Jam.s Smith Clk
