for Stealing two Geese and one Gander and if that in the
Mean time she should not be of good behaviour wherewith
the same John Wilson is Content

    And now at this Court here to wit this twenty first day of
November Anno Dom seventeen hundred twenty and Seven
the afd Mary Wilson cometh and appeareth to the Recognizance
afd

    Kent County fs.t The Jurors for the Right Honourable the
Lord Proprietary that now is for the body of Kent County afd upon
their Oath do present that Mary Wilson Late of Saint pauls
parish in the County afd the wife of John Wilson of the same
parish and County Inn-holder the tenth day of July Anno Dom
Seventeen hundred twenty and Seven with force and arms at
the parish afd in the County afd within the Jurisdiction of this
Court two Geese of the value of Eighteen pounds of Tobacco each
and one Gander of the value of Eighteen pounds of Tobacco
of the goods and Chattles of a Certain person to the Jurors afd
unknown then and there being found then and there feloniously
did steal take and bare away Contrary to the peace of
the said Lord proprietary that now is his good rule and Government
and against the form of the Act of Assembly in such case lately
made and provided &c

    On the back of the preceeding Indictment was Endorst as foll.s viz.t
                A true bill by William Ringgold foreman

    And the afd Mary Wilson in her proper person comes and saith
that she is in no sort guilty of the premisses above upon her imposed
as by the afd Indictment it is alleadged and thereof she putteth her
self upon the Country

    And the afd Tench Francis Attorney of the said Lord propry
Cometh and saith that for as much as he hath not Evidence sufficient
to Maintain the afd Charge in the Indictment afd Specefied against
the said Mary Wilson he will not prosecute the same Indictment
any further Therefore it is Considered by the Justices here to wit
at the Court house in the Town of Chester in Kent County this
