332                                        November Court 1727

Mary Spearman as by the Indictment above specefied And to
the same Indictment pleaded not guilty as by the plea afd.

    Thereupon Command was Likewise given to the Sherr
of Kent County that he Imediately cause to Come here twelve
&c by whom &c who neither &c to Recognize &c because as
well &c.a Of which said precept the said Sherr to wit John Gresham
Gent now here at this Day to wit the twenty first Day of Novemb.r
Anno Dom Seventeen hundred twenty and seven makes return
that he hath here ready twelve &c as by his precept he was
Commanded And now here afterwards to wit the Day and Year
Last mentioned Come again the afd Mary Wilson in her proper
person and the afd Tench Francis Attorney of the Lord propry
and the Jurors of that Jury being impanelled and Called
Likewise Came to wit Francis Barney Thomas Hynson Jun.r
Thomas Medford Roger Hailes Abraham Ambrose Abraham
Redgrave Jun.r William Dean John Cooper Benjamin
Griffith Thomas Massey William Sincocks & John Walls who
being Duly Elected tryed and Sworn to say the truth in the Psses
upon their Oaths do say that Mary Wilson is not Guilty as
Accessary with the aforementioned Mary Spearman in Stealing
the afd apron Therefore it is Considered by the Justices
here to wit at the Court house in the Town of Chester in Kent
County this twenty first Day of November Anno Dom Seventeen
hundred twenty and Seven That the afd Mary Wilson as to
the Indictment afd she go thereof without Day and be therefrom
acquitted Also it is Considered that the said Mary Wilson pay
the sum of five hundred twenty one pounds of Tobacco Costs
accruing on the premisses to the Officers of this Court

    John Wilson of Kent County Taylor Comes into Court and
undertakes to pay all Costs and officers Fees that hath or
shall accrue to the afd Mary Wilson in all actions in this Court
Depending and thereupon the said Mary is therefrom acquitted
