that he hath here ready twelve &c as by his precept he was Comanded
And now here afterwards to wit the Day and year Last mentioned
Come again the afd Mary Spearman and the afd Tench
Francis Attry of the Lord proprietary and the Jurors of that
Jury being Impanelled and Called Likewise came to wit

Roger Hailes Abraham Ambrose Abraham Redgrave Jun.r
William Dean John Cooper Benjamin Griffith Thomas
Massey William Sincocks John Walls who being duly Elected
tryed and Sworn to say the truth in the premisses upon
their oath Do say that Mary Spearman is guilty of Stealing
the afd Checkered Linnen apron as she stands Indicted and
by Francis Barney their Foreman allso say Therefore
it is Considered by the Justices here to wit at the Court house
in the Town of Chester in Kent County this twenty first Day
of November Anno Dom Seventeen hundred twenty and
seven That the afd Mary Spearman stand half an hour on
the Pillory And afterwards to receive at the publick
whiping post five Lashes well laid on her bare back till the
blood appear as a punishment for her afd Crime of stealing
the afd apron according to the force form and Effect of the
verdict afd also it is Considered that the afd Mary Spearman
pay the sum of five hundred and eighty three pounds of
Tobacco Costs accruing on the premisses afd to the officers of
this Court

    Ordered by the Court here to wit at this Day to wit the day
and Year Last mentioned that the Sherr of Kent County
take the afd Mary Spearman into his Custody and Execute
the punishment in the Judgment afd Specified and afterwards
to bring her into Court again Of which precept the said Sherr
to wit John Gresham Gent high Sherr of Kent County makes
Return on the Day and Year Last said that he hath Executed
the said Judgment and also hath here the said Mary
Spearman before the Court

    And as to Mary Wilson as accessary with the afd
