319 within the Jurisdiction of this Court Seven Dung hill Fowles of the price of Six pence Current money Each of the Goods and Chattles of a Certain Henry Cully then and there being found then and there feloniously Did Steal take and Bear away Contrary to the peace of the s.d Lord prop.ry that now is his Good Rule and Government and against the form of the Act of Assembly in Such Case lately made and provided T francis Cler. pac. On the Back of y.e preceeding Indictm.t was as foll.s viz.t A true Bill by Will.m Ringgold Foreman Catherin Bullock Evidence And the afd Mary Wilson in her proper person Comes and Saith that She is in no Sort Guilty of the premisses above upon her Imposed as by y.e afd Indictment it is alledged and thereof She putteth herself upon the Country Mary Wilson in p.a psona And he ^who^ followeth for the Lord prop.ry in like manner Saith that She is Guilty T francis p Lord prop.ry Thereupon Command was given to the Sherf of Kent County that he Immediatly Cause to Come here twelve &c.a by whome &c.a who Neither &c.a To Recognize &c.a because as well &c.a of which s.d precept the said Sherf to wit John Gresham Gentl now here at this Day to wit y.e Seventeenth Day of August Anno Dom. Seventeen hundred and twenty Seven make Return that he hath here Ready twelve &c.a as by his precept he was Comanded And now here afterwards to wit the Day and year afd Come again the afd Lord prop.ry by Tench Francis his Clerk of Indictments and y.e afd Mary Wilson in her proper person and the Jurors of that Jury being Impannelled and Called likewise Came to wit Francis Barney, John Walls Andrew Tolson, Nicholas Reiley, Tho.s Hynson Jun.r James Ringgold Humphrey Younger, Tho.s Rush, Richard Kennard, William Crow, George Murphey and Benjamin Blackiston who being Duely Elected tryed and Sworn to Say the truth in the premisses upon their oath Do Say that Mary Wilson prisoner at the Barr is not Guilty as She Stand Indicted and ^by^ Francis Barney their Foreman allso Say Therefore it is Considered by the Justices here to wit at the Court house in the Town of Chester in s.d Co.ty this Seventeenth Day of August Anno Dom. Seventeen hundred and twenty Seven that the afd Mary Wilson as to the Indictment afd She go thereof without Day and be therefrom Acquitted Also it is Considered that y.e said Mary Wilson |
