301 and the s.d Daniel Pearkins in his proper person and the Jurors of that Jury being Impannelled and Called likewise Came to wit Samuel Wickes, Tho.s Hynson jun.r, John Denning, Vincent Hutchinson, Joshua Beck, John Ashley, James Kear, Cornelius Hurley, John Cooper, Benj.a Blackledge Acquilla Beck and Samuel Norris, who being Duely Elected tryed and Sworn to Say the truth in the premisses upon their oath Do Say that y.e afd Daniel Pearkins is Guilty of an Assault as by the afd Informacon it is alledged But not a Battery Therefore it is Considered by the Justices here this twenty Second Day of June Anno Dom. Seventeen hundred and twenty Seven that the afd Daniel Pearkins pay the Sume of Six hundred pounds of Tobacco as a fine for his afd offence of Comitting an assault according to y.e force form and effect of y.e verdict afd to be applied according to Act of Assembly in that Case made and provided also it is Considered that y.e s.d Daniel pay the Sume of Seven hundred and twenty Eight pounds of Tobacco Costs Accrueing on the premisses afd to y.e officers of this Court Jam.s Smith Clk This Court adjorns till to Morrow Morning at Eight of the Clock
