    The Orphan Jury for this County Returns to the Court the following presentments
viz.t against John Brooks and Richard Davis

    The Orphan Jury for this Court is Discharged

^two^ of the Justices of this Court Returns a Recogniz.c
against the afd Philemon Church Dated May y.e
16.th 1727 to Answer at the then next June Court to
what Should be objected against him on Suspicion of felony ^and in y.e mean time to be of Good Behaviour^ in the
Sume of twenty pound Sterling money of Great Brittain And now
at this Court to wit the twentyeth Day of June Anno Dom. 1727 he y.e
afd Philemon Church not appearing It is Considered by the Justices
here to wit at the Court house in the Town of Chester this twentyeth
Day of June Anno Dom. Seventeen hundred and twenty Seaven
that the afd Recognizance of the afd Philemon Church for y.e s.d Sume
of twenty pounds Sterling money of great Brittain be forfeited to the
use of the said Lord prop.ry of this province of Maryland and that
his s.d Lordship have thereof Execution against the s.d Philemon
Also it is Considered that the afd Philemon pay the Sume of twenty
Eight pounds of Tobacco Costs Accrueing on y.e premisses afd to the
Clerk of this Court

    Daniel Pearce and Gideon Pearce both of Kent County Gentlemen at the
Day and year afd before the afd James Wilson Jun.r and George
Skirven Acknowledged themselves Indebted unto the Lord prop.ry of this
province in the Sume of ten pounds Sterling Each to be Levey of their
Goods and Chattels Lands and Tenements Conditionally that if the afd
Philemon Church Should not make his personall appearance before the
Justices of the then next Court ^to be held for this County^ to Answer unto what Should be objected
against him on Suspicion of felony and in the mean time to be
of Good Behaviour And now to wit at this Court to wit the twentyeth
day of June Anno Dom. 1727 he the afd Philemon Church not
appearing It is Considered by the Justices here to wit at the Court house
in the Town of Chester this twentyeth Day of June Anno Dom. 1727
that the afd Recognizances of the afd Daniel Pearce and Gideon Pearce
for the Sume of ten pounds Sterling Each be forfeited to the use of the
of the Lord prop.ry of this province of Maryland and that his
