    Ordered by the Court here that Cornelius Harkins of Kent County planter
be fined five Shill.s Curr.t money or Sixty pounds Tob.o for being Drunk
and that the Sher of Kent County keep him y.e s.d Corn.s in Safe Custody
untill he Shall Satisfie y.e afd fine and fifty two pounds of Tob.o Costs
accrueing on y.e premisses afd to y.e officers of this Court

    The Grand Jury Returns y.e following presentments viz.t against Alce
Brown for fornication ag.st Ja.s Watson for felony and ag.st y.e Same
for an assault and Batery

Ordered by the Court here that Alce Brown Enter into
Recognizance with good Security for her appearance at
next Court as an Evidence against the afd W.m Course
Thereupon Alce Brown of Kent County Spinster and
present here in Court in her proper person Acknowledges herself Indebted unto
y.e Lord prop.ry of this province in the Sume of five pounds Sterling to be made
and Leveyed of her body Goods & Chattles Lands and Tenements for y.e Fee of
the s.d Lord prop.ry his heirs and Successors Conditionally that if She Shall
not make her personal appearance before y.e Justices of our next County
Court to be held at our Court house in the Town of Chester in s.d County on the
third Teusday of June next as an Evidence for his Lordship against the
afd William Course wherewith y.e said Alce Brown is Content     also
Robert Brown of Kent County planter and present here in Court in his
proper person Acknowledges himself Indebted unto y.e Lord prop.ry of this
of this province of Maryland in the Sume of five pounds Sterl money money
to be Leveyed of his Goods and Chattles Lands and Tenements for y.e use of y.e
