Yesterdays Minutes Read and approved

    Benjamin Palmer Constable appointed by y.e Court here in roome
of William Sincocks to Detect y.e Iregular meeting of Negroes and other
Slaves for which he is to be allowed five hundred pounds of Tobacco in
next Levey

    Ordered by the Court here that John Austin be put in the Stocks for the
Space of one hour for useing indeasent Lanjuage in Court upon which
a warrant is made out and Delivered to the Sherr

    Ordered by the Court here that John Austin Enter into Recognizance w.th
Good Security for his appearance here at next Court and Good Behaviour

    Thereupon John Austin of Kent County Blacksmith and present here in
Court in his proper person Acknowledges himself Indebted unto y.e Lord prop.ry
of this province of Maryland in the Sume of ten pounds Sterling money
of great Brittain to be leveyed of his goods and Chattles Lands and Tenements
for y.e use of his s.d Lordships his heirs &c.a Conditionally that if
he Shall not make his personal appearance before the Justices of our
next County Court to be held at our Court house in the Town of Chester in Kent
County on y.e third Teusday of June next and if that in y.e mean time he
Shall not be of good Behaviour wherewith the s.d John Doth Acknowledge
himself to be Content                                                        also

    Francis Barney of Kent County planter and present here in Court in
his proper person acknowledges himself Indebted unto the Lord prop.ry of
of this province of Maryland in the Sume of ten pounds Sterling money
