March Court 1726/7 Twenty & six the said William Beck having appeared his Recognizance is discharged John Gilbert and William Smithers ^at^ the day and year afd ^before y.e afd Abra.m Redgrave & Geo Skirven^ acknowledged themselves Indebted unto the Lord proprietary of this province of Maryland in the sum of tenn pounds Sterling money each to be Leveyed on theri goods and Chattles Lands and Tenements for the use of his said Lordship his heirs and Success.rs Conditionally that if the afd William Beck should not make his personall appearance at this Court as a prosecutor for his Lordship against the aforementioned William Haggarty at this Court here to wit the twenty first day of March in the Year afd last mentioned the afd William Beck having appeared the said John Gilbert and William Smithers their Recognizance are discharged
twenty Six the afd Thomas Jones not appearing Thereupon his Recog.c and his Suretys Recogniz.cs are Continued untill the third Teusday of June next
Ordered by the Court Court here that what Summons's M.r Tench Francis Clk of Indictments shall ordered that the Same be Issued The Grand Jury Returns a Presentment ag.st Martha Jurors for fornication and thereupon there is a Bill filed John Walls and William Hudleston Sworn and Sent as Evidences to the Grand Jury The Grand Jury Returns a Presentment against Ann King for fornication and thereupon there is a Bill filed John Hitchcock & John Gilbert Sworn & W.m Beck Attested and Sent as Evidences to y.e Grand Jury The Court Adjorns till To Morrow Morning at Nine of y.e Clock |
