260                                    March Court 1726/7

    To Recognize &c.a because as well &c.a of which said precept the said
Sherr to wit John Gresham Gentl now here at this Day to wit the twenty
first Day of March Anno Dom Seventeen hundred twenty and six makes return
that he hath here ready twelve &c.a as by his precept he was Commanded And
now here afterwards to wit the Day and year last mentioned Come again the
afd Lord propry by Tench Francis his Attorney and the said Isabella Cook in
her proper person and the Jurors of that Jury being Impanelled and Called
likewise Came to wit Daniel Perkins, James Stapley, Alexand.r Brisko, John
Brisko, Henry Truelock, William Truelock, Robert Green James Ringgold
Serv.t, Caleb Beck, John Austin, David Jones Cornelious Comegys.  Who
being duly Elected tryed and sworn to say the truth on the premisses upon
their Oath Do say that the afd Isabella Cook is not guilty of the felony as
in the Indictment afd it is alleadged                            Ther

    Therefore it is Considered by the Justices here to wit the twenty first
day of March Anno Dom seventeen hundred twenty & six that the afd Isabella
Cook as to the Indictment afd she go thereof without Day and be therefrom
acquitted also it is Considered that the said Isabella Cook pay the sum of Six
hundred & fifty two                pounds of Tobacco Costs accruing on the pssos
afd to the Officers of this Court

    Ordered by the Court here that the Sherriff of Kent County keep her
the said Isabella Cook in safe Custody untill she shall sattisfie the
ffees in the Judgment afd Specefied

There being a Recognizance transmitted from
Queen Anns County Court dated the third Tuesday
of August 1726 against the afd Edward Harris
for his appearance at Kent County Court on the third Tuesday of November
then next following and the said Edward Harris having appeared it 'twas
Ordered by the Justices that the said Edward Harris his Recognizance and
his Suretys Recognizances be Continued 'till the third Tuesday of March then
next following And now at the said third Tuesday of March the said Edward
having appeared Ordered that his Recognizance and his Suretys Recognizance
afd be discharged
