247 his appearance to the next Court to be held for Queen Anns County at Queens Town being the fourth Teusday of this Instant November to Answer the Same On which Charles Smith Acknowledges himself Indebted to his Lordship the Lord proprietarie of this province his heirs and Successors in the Sume of forty pounds Sterling to be Leveyed on his Goods and Chattles Lands and Tenements Conditionally that if he Shall not make his personal appearance at the next Court to be held for Queen Ann's Coty the fourth Teusday of this Instant November to Answer unto what Shall be there objected against him on his said Lordships behalf and not to Depart the Same Court without Leave and in the mean time to be of Good Behaviour wherewith he Acknowledges himself Content Likewise at the Same Court Came John Clayton and Robert Mecay who Acknowledges themselves Indebted to his Lordship the Lord prop.ry of this province in the Sume of twenty pounds Sterling Each to be Leveyed on their Goods and Chattles Lands and Tenements Conditionally that if the afd Charles Smith shall not make his personal appearance at the next Court to be held for Queen Ann's County the fourth Teusday of this Instant November to Answer unto what Shall be objected against him at the Same Court on behalf of his Lordship and that he the afd Charles Smith is not to Depart the Same Court without leave and that n the mean time he is not to be of Good Behaviour wherewith they Acknowledge themselves Content The Court adjorns till to Morrow Morning at Nine of y.e Clock
