November Court 1726 No Business being offered to the Court on the Day afd the Same Court adjorns Accordingly till nine of y.e Clock to Morrow
And Thereupon Edward Harris of Kent County Gent present here in Court in his proper person doth acknowledge himself indebted unto the Lord prop.ry of this province of Maryland in the Sum of thirty pounds Sterling money of great Brittain to be made & Leveyed of his Goods and Chattles Lands and Tenements for the use of the s.d Lord prop.ry his heirs and Successors Conditionally that if he Shall not make his personal appearance before the Justices of the next Court to be held for the County afd at the Town of Chester in the Same County on the third Teusday of March next ensueing to Answer unto an Information found against him for Extortion of fees and if that in the mean time he Shall not be of Good Behaviour wherewith the s.d Edward Harris Doth Acknowledge himself to be Content also Laughlin Flinn and Gideon Pearce both of Kent County Gent. present here in Court in their proper persons Do Acknowledge themselves Indebted unto the Right Honourable the Lord prop.ry of this province of Maryland in the Sume of fifteen pounds Sterling money of Great Brittain Each to be made & Leveyed of their Goods and Chattles Lands and Tenements for the use of the said Lord prop.ry |
