1726 Ordered that what Sumonses that M.r Tench Frances Clerk of Indictments shall desire on his Lordpps Account be issued Ordered ^by the Court here^ that the Constables following be Sworn and sent to the Grand Jury viz.t John Gail, John Frew, Joseph Everitt George Hastings, Benjamin Palmer, William Bradshaw M.r George Skirven one of the Justices of the Court Returns a Recognizance of Henry Culley and John Godfrey for the appearance and good behaviour of Francis Pool bearing Date the seventh Day of Novemb.r Anno Dom seventeen hundred twenty & Six And now here at this Court the said Francis Pool appearing Ordered that the said Henry Culley and ^Jn.o^ Godfrey their Recognizance ^and either of them^ be discharged The afd Henry Culley and John Godfrey the same Day and Year afd before the afd George Skirven acknowledged themselves indebted unto the Lord proprietary of this province of Maryland in the sum of ten pounds Sterling Money of Great Brittain each to be Leveyed on their goods and Chattles Lands and Tenem.ts Conditionally that that if the afd Francis Pool shall not make his personal appearance at this Court to Answer unto what should be Objected against him on his Lodpps behalf on Suspicion of Stealing one Gelding of the proper goods and Chattles of a Certain John Wilson and in the Mean time to be of good behaviour And now at this Day to wit the fifteenth Day of November Anno Dom. seventeen hundred twenty & Six the said Francis Pool having appeared the said Henry Culley and John Godfrey their Recognizance ^and either of them^ is discharged also M.r George Skirven aforementioned returns a Recogniz.ce of John Wilson of Kent County and province Innholder for his appearance to this Court as a prosecutor for his Lordship against the afd Francis Pool bearing Date the seventh Day of November Anno Dom. seventeen hundred twenty and six And now here at this Court the said John appearing Ordered that his Recognizance be discharged The afd John Wilson the Day and Year afd before the afd George Skirven acknowledged himself Indebted unto the Lord proprietary of |
