in the Town of Chester in said County this fifteenth Seventeenth Day of November Anno
Dom. seventeen hundred twenty and Six That the afd John Henry pay the
sum of two shillings and six pence Current Money of the province of
Maryland as a fine for his afd Offence in the Information afd
Specefyed in form afd Confest As also that he pay the sum of One
hundred seventy & Seven pounds of Tobacco Costs accrueing on the
premisses afd to the Officers of this Court

    Laughlin Flinn of Kent County Innholder and present here in
Court in his proper person assumes to pay all the ffees in the Judgment
afd specefyed amounting to One hundred seventy and seven pounds
of Tobacco and thereupon the said John Henry is therefrom acquited

    Laughlin Flinn of Kent County Innholder Comes into Court &
swears on the Holy Evangilists of Almighty God that he is in fear of
his Life or some bodily hurt to be done or to be procured to be done
him by William Standley Servant to Maurice Cartey and that he
doth not require the peace of him for any Malice Vexation or Revenge
but for the Causes afd Thereupon it is Ordered by the Court here that the
said William Standley find Security for his good behaviour for four
Months

    Whereupon Maurice Cartey of Kent County Innholder and present here
in Court in his proper person acknowledges himself surety for the said
William Standley that he the said William shall be of good behaviour
to all his Lordships people and Especially to Laughlin fflinn and his
ffamily for the space of four Months to be Compleated and Ended from
the Date of those presents

George Skirven sworn as Evidences for his Lordship and sent to the
