Negroe Will
M.r Simon Wilmer one of the Justices of this Court
Returns a Recog.c of M.r W.m Hagethys for y.e said
Negroe Will appearance and Good Behaviour to
this Court Beareing Date y.e 5.th Day of Aug.st 1726
And now here at this Court y.e s.d Negroe Will appearing ordered ^that^ the
afd W.m Hagethys Recogniz.c be Discharged

    The afd William Hagethy of Kent County Gentl at the Same Day
and year afd before the afd Simon Wilmer Acknowledged himself
Indebted unto y.e Lord prop.ry of his province of Maryland in the Sume
of twenty pounds Sterl to be Levyed &c.a Conditionally that if the afd
Negroe Will Should not make his personal appearance at this Court to
Answer unto what Should be objected against him on his Lordships
behalf and in the mean time to be of Good Behav.r and now at this
Day to wit the Sixteenth Day of August Anno Dom. 1726 the s.d Negroe
Will appearing the s.d W.m Hagethys Recogniz.c is Discharged

    Ordered by the Court here that W.m Hagethy of Kent Coty Gentl
Enter into Recogniz.c for the s.d Negroe Wills appearance at next Court to
Answer unto what Shall be objected against him on His Lordships
behalf and Good Behav.r Thereupon William Hagethy of Kent
County Gent. Acknowledges himself Indebted unto y.e Right Hon.ble the
Lord prop.ry of this province of Maryland in the Sume of twenty pounds
Sterl money of Great Brittain to be Leveyed of his Goods and Chattels
Lands and Tenements for the use of the s.d Lord prop.ry his heirs and
Successors Conditionally that if the afd Negroe Will Shall not make
his personal appearance Before the Justices of the next Court to be held
for the County afd at the Court house in the Town of Chester in s.d County on
the third Teusday of November next ensueing to Answer unto what
Shall be objected against him on his Lordships Behalf and if that
in the mean time the afd Negroe Will Shall not be of Good Behaviour
wherewith the s.d W.m Hagethy Doth Acknowledge himself to be
