James Clark
A writt haveing Issued at his Lordships Suit to Answer
unto an Information for an Assault and Batery
The Sher of Kent County to whome the s.d writt was
Directed makes Return thereof to this Court here on the third Teusday of Aug.st
being the Sixteenth Day of s.d Month Anno Dom. 1726 the Day of Return
of s.d writt Endorst as foll.s viz.t            Cepi Corpus p Jn.o Gresham Sherr

    Ordered by the Court here that the afd James Clark Enter into Recogniz.c
with Good Security for his appearance at any time Dureing this Court
Sitting to Answer unto an Information found against him for an assault
and Batery and Good Behaviour Thereupon James Clark of Kent
County Weaver present herein Court in his proper person Doth Acknowledge
himself indebted unto the Right Hon.ble the Lord prop.ry of this
province of Maryland in the Sume of ten pounds Sterl money of
Great Brittain to be Leveyed of his Goods and Chattels Lands and
Tenements for the use of the s.d Lord prop.ry his heirs and Successors
Conditionally that if he Shall not make his personal appearance
before the Justices of this Court att any time Dureing the Same now
Sitting to Answer unto an Information for an Assault & Batery
and if that in the mean time he Shall not be of Good Behaviour
wherewith the s.d James Clark Doth acknowledge himself to be
Content                                                    also

    John Wilson of Kent County Innholder present here in Court in his
proper person Doth Acknowledge himself Indebted unto the Right Hon.ble
the Lord prop.ry of this province of Maryland in the Sume of ten
