Eliz.a Clark for fornication also against Mary Cunningham for fornication John Young Delivers up to this Court a Certain Mary Chambers who formerly was Convicted of haveing a Base born Child and Judgm.t against her for Same for which the County paid Seven hundred and Eighty Nine pounds of Tobacco and now here at this Court M.r Abraham Redgrave Comes in of Tob.o afd and thereupon this Court Sells the afd Mary to John Young to Serve him or his assignes untill the Eleventh Day of Aprill Anno Dom. Seventeen hundred and twenty Seven also that y.e afd Jn.o Young is to give the s.d Mary at y.e Expiration of her Service afd beside her Wearing appearill with one new Westcoat and Petticoat one ^new^ Shift and one one pair of Shoes and Stockins
the first Day of October Anno Dom. Seventeen hundred & twenty five at the parish in the County afd within the Jurisdiction of this Court Did Commit fornication with a Certain person to y.e Jurors afd unknown and Did permit the Same unknown person then and there to have Carnal knowledge of her body and to begett then and there a bastard Child on y.e body of her the Same Christian Keese to the high Displeasure of Almighty God to the Evill Example of all others in Such Case offending Contrary to the peace of the s.d Lord prop.ry that now is his Good Rule and Government & against the form of y.e Act of Assembly |
