147 Fra.s Meeks & Robert ^Meeks both^ of Kent County planters at the Day & year afd before the afd Simon Wilmer and Will.m Frisby Acknowledged themselves Indebted unto the Lord prop.ry of this province in the Sume of twenty pounds Sterling ^Each^ to be Levey'd &c.a Conditionally that if the afd Thomas Winn Should not make his personal appearance before the Justices of the then next Court to be held at our Court House in the Town of Chester in Kent County to answer unto what Should be objected against him y.e s.d Tho.s on his Lordships behalf on Suspicion of felony and if that in the mean time he Should not be of Good Behaviour and now at this Court to wit the twenty Sixth Day of Aprill Anno Dom. 1726 y.e s.d Thomas Winn appearing y.e s.d Fra.s Meeks & Rob.t Meeks their Recognizances and Either of them is Discharged Ordered by the Court here that the afd Thomas Winn Enter into Recog.c with Good Security for his appearance at any time Dureing this Court to answer unto what Shall be objected against him on his Lordships behalf on Suspicion of felony and Good Behav.r and that the Sher of Kent County keep him y.e s.d Tho.s in Safe Custody untill he Shall Enter as afd William Sullavan William Beck Samuel Slight James Watson Abraham Whearum John Rainger John Young & Uxor and Mary Chambers all Sworn and Sent as Evidences to the Grand Jury Ordered by the Court here that what Sum.s shall be occasion for on his Lordships behalf that the same be Issued out John Prior Sworn and Sent as an Evidence to the Grand Jury The Court adjorns till to Morrow Morning at Eight of y.e Clock
